The finca La Masia dels Artistes is set in 45 acres of agricultural land with olive and almond groves, algarobe (carob) and coniferous forests. An old peasant villa, it is beautifully located with spectacular views of the surrounding mountain ranges, and bathed in Mediterranean sunlight from dawn to dusk.

 

The large living room is situated at the ground floor, with an extensive outdoor room and guest toilets. The large (10 x 5 metre) Mediterranean kitchen, where the hosts make lovely meals and where cool drinks are available, is next door to the guest area.

The first floor consists of 4 comfortable bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a loft of 5 x 12 metres, with another kitchen, a large terrace and one smaller bedroom.

 

Outside there is seating everywhere where guests can read a book, work on a laptop or just enjoy every hour of the day.

At the front of the house you can sit under a pergola full of grapes and overlook the impressive scenery that surrounds the finca with the Puig Campana and the Sierra Aitana in the distance.

Next to the house stands an old ´aleppo´ pine tree. With its natural shade this is the place to have your lunch or siesta during the summer days. Later on you can watch the sun go down behind the mountains in the west and witness, especially in spring and autumn, the most spectacular sunsets.

 

Twenty metres away, at the other side of the house, lies the swimmingpool that has been designed to blend into the landscape. A ´chirinquito´ (wooden sunhouse) stands next to it, providing shade for those with sensitive skins or who have to be careful sunbathing.
